TRIPLE THREAT DIVAS DANCE TEAM
ABOUT:
Triple Threat Divas will be a all year around Dance team; so there will be a LOT of competitions!! There will be two different types of teams: There will be the Diva Diamond Team and the Diva Elite Team. Everyone has to try out for the Elite Team.

WHO WE ARE
The purpose of the Elite Dance Team and the Diva Diamond Team is to explore dance in a team building environment- teamwork skills and self motivation. TTD is dedicated to building well rounded dancers through an environment of positive energy, self-motivation and hard work. We believe that each individual's success contributes to the success of the team. Team members gain experience setting while working hard to achieve meaningful goals throughout the season. Each dancer grow and gain valuable dance skills, such as performance, confidence, dance technique and artistic expression. |
TEAM DANCE TRAINING:
A monthly training schedule was developed to provide a minimum number of technique classes necessary to increase or maintain a skill level that allows for success on the competition circuit. Additional classes, workshops, and intensives are always encouraged.
The TTD training program includes 6 hours/week (Instruction time can fluctuate):
* Program runs from August through June. If more than 4 hours of technique class if missed in any given month, members are required to make up these hours with technique privates at $50/hour.
*Classes are taught on a continually progressive, year-long basis.
*Unlimited rates apply to individuals.
*Inquire about additional family discount rates at the front desk.

- 1.5 hours ballet/week
- 1 hour of turns & leaps/week
- 1.5 hour of stretch & conditioning & skills/week
- 1 hour of hip-hop/week

SPECIALITY PERFORMANCES:
On a regular basis as time permits, Triple Threat Divas Studio will be asked to perform for half times shows, parades and etc.., it is EXPECTED for all girls and boys to perform at these performances. There is usually no fee associated with these performances but it gives the team some extra practice before they hit the big stage. Sometime we are informed of these performances at a short notice yet we still expect the team to perform as one.

NO BULLYING!!!!
Here at TTD, we absolutely do not tolerate or will accept bullying at our studio from any staff members and/or from our students. If any altercations of bullying is recorded or brought to the staff/the owners you will be removed from Triple Threat Divas Dance Team/Studio.
SAFE ENVIRONMENT!!!!
Triple Threat Divas Dance Studio have establish clear expectations for behavior to ensure that each dancer feels safe, respected and valued whether in the studio, online and outside of the studio.
COMITTMENT INCLUDES:

*Attend weekly Thursday/Sunday/Saturday Team rehearsals (during the school year) to learn and perfect each competition choreography
*Enroll in the following weekly classes (during the school year at TTD) Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz and/or conditioning class (must take all to be on team)

STUDIO RULES:
TTD strives to maintain an environment that is safe and conducive to learning. Although we encourage that students to have fun, this is an educational facility and should be treated as a second home. Therefore, the following rules will be strictly enforced:
a. Listening and not talking out of place during class.
b. Raising your hand to ask questions.
c. Using the restroom before, between, or after classes rather than interrupting.
d. Giving your fullest attention by observing, taking, and applying corrections.
e. Maintain focus during rehearsals and classes. If it's not part of the dance, don't practice it!
f. Please do not talk to teachers between classes. If you wish to talk with a teacher, please notify the front desk and they will set you up with a time.
3. Respecting Your Studio- The studio is not only the place in which you dance, but also the people that fill that space. Remember to treat your second home with care and consideration and to treat others with kindness and compassion. Families like ours need to look out for:
- Respect Yourself- All students should take care of the way they present themselves. This includes respecting their bodies, their self-image, and their behavior in class. Not only do we wish to have dancers in class, but dancers with class. This includes:
- Proper Dress/Attire for class; Hair well-secured back
- No gum chewing
- A healthy, positive attitude

- Avoiding scratching or damage to the floors.
- Staying clear of the mirrors that are precariously attached to the walls.
- No hanging, pulling, tipping, or flipping over the barres (Never move barres without assistance from your instructor).
- Cleaning your eating space after meals (please pour out extra liquids from drinks in the sink before tossing into the garbage).
- Hang up coats. Please do move anyone's belongings without permission of take anything from another person's bag. If there is anything that is imperative to discuss, please address a teacher.
- Keeping the lobby and hallway noise level to a minimum so that dancers and teachers can have their fullest attention on their dancing. This also allows those who are studying and doing homework to concentrate on their work without extra distractions.
- Please keep young children supervised at all times. Also, dancers not in class are not to play in the back area or be disruptive in the studio.
